A TRUE STORY FOR THE MASSES:

One man passing by said, "could you imagine doing this 40 hours a week?" That isn't the case with Jack, who you will usually find at Silver Springs on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon between 1:00 and 3:00 P.M. He sits at a picnic table in the park, demonstrating true PSYCHOKINESIS (levitation). Not that Jack hasn't been offered a job by the management of Silver Springs, he has, but he would like to come and go when he pleases. Jack does not do this for money, he does this to make people aware that it is real and it is not a trick.

Most of the employees that walk by will greet Jack with affection and at times stop for a short conversation. No matter how many times I visit Silver Springs (having purchased a Season Pass) I look forward to seeing Jack with a group of people from all walks of life. People are fascinated with his unique gift. Until you talk to Jack you wouldn't’t know that he is just as impressed with their personalities and varying nationalities. Jack will usually ask where people are from and inquire about their varying opinions about the floating ball.

While Jack sits at the public picnic table with his music playing. He informally drapes a string to section himself from the crowd of people for no other reason but to put distance between any movement that may distract him. Jack would like nothing better than to have the children sit at the table but he has to have total concentration. When he is very tired and ready to end his day he will stand and interact with those who have been watching on a one on one basis. Jack has a couple of cardboard squares one is red and the other gold. The red one is just a place mat to make it eye appealing and the small gold square is a prop to allow him to use his ability to a more artistic level. He attaches a home made sign to the umbrella pole that shades him, the sign reads " Magician among the Spirits". His music is playing in the background either big band or jazz from the 40’s 50’s and 60’s. You can tell by the way he tightens the muscles in his face and if the ball is moving slowly whether or not he is having a good or bad day. When he gets tired you notice he may start to rub his eyes.

What exactly does Jack do? As the music plays Jack takes a piece of plain aluminum foil right from the roll and rolls it into a ball, he then places it in a wineglass. He begins levitating the ball into the air above and around the glass. He levitates this ball of aluminum foil gracefully to music using simple props to get the artistic look across to the people watching. The foil ball will move gracefully with the movements of his hands. When Jack moves his hands up the ball moves up and when he moves them down or sidewise the ball follows. But when he places his hands behind his back he can put forth the effort to make the ball rise and move by itself. However you perceive it, either mentally or willingly he makes the ball move with energy. I had asked Jack about this and he said that he had to time the movement of his hands with the movement of the ball. If you watch closely you can see his hand movement is off just a touch from the movement of the ball thus there are no strings attached. When there is a song that Jack really likes the movement of the ball is strong and fluent. What I find astonishing is when it is windy he has total control of the aluminum as light as it might be it does not falter with the wind. If you stay long enough to watch Jack when he gets weak he will then stand while doing levitating and move closer to the crowd. Jack will place the aluminum ball in a jar with a lid on it and make it move up the inside of the jar. Jack will remove the jar lid and place his hand on the jar and make it move to his hand and back to the bottom. This is to show that there are no strings attached.

I have heard many comments while watching Jack do this. One child made the most interesting statement he said; "it must be spider webs". Jack laughed and said he thought that was very smart and he supposed it made sense seeing that there are many spiders and webs around Silver Springs. Jack again shows them the jar with the lid and asked how could a spider web move an object confined inside a jar?

Many say string and others say magnets but when he is done Jack will open the aluminum and show everyone that it is just plain simple aluminum foil, non-conductive and no holes or strings attached. When Jack does this he is standing beside the crowd of onlookers for them to inspect the foil.

Jack prepares for this afternoon delight, by using a form of meditation with prisms that project from a ruler hanging in a window at home; he listens to his favorite old time tunes on his home audio system. There is no telling if he is going to have a good (strong) day or a bad (weak) day. It takes deep concentration and strong focus. Jack believes "you can do anything you put your mind to, his gifts flow from and through God." Jack also believes that "life and all it’s wonders are up to you".

I have asked Jack specifically in what range of movement can he move the foil ball and he said approximately the area from his head to his waist, the tips of his fingers to his elbows. He does not have a reason it is just fact. Needless to say each time I have the pleasure of experiencing Jack's gift and I am in awe.

Of the thousands of people that have witnessed his gift many have taken pictures and videos of him in action, he mentioned that he would like to obtain a copy of a tape to see if he could get a better understanding of how he did this himself. He also wanted to experience what the crowds of people would see while watching him. I gave Jack a copy of three short tapes. The next time I had the extreme pleasure of watching him I noticed that he seemed to enjoy himself more and the ball moved at a greater speed.

With Jack's permission I have published this site about him. Jack is very adamant that any web site or article be made with the purpose of educating the public to the fact, that TRUE LEVITATION is real, and out there. Jack has received scientific scrutiny that has also validated his incredible abilities.

"The only road to a fuller grasp of reality is the exploration of Supernormal Perception."(Dr Albert Schweitzer)..."We must transcend our thinking, and use our minds for the best Spiritual Interests of the Universe, not just for the material pursuits mankind." (Jack)
